2011-2012
Heart Health Month

February is "heart" month and, as such, PEIWI is thrilled to take this opportunity to launch a "Women's Heart Health" Campaign for 2011along with our partners "Go!PEI," the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and Radio Stations Ocean 100 and K-Rock. We invite you to listen to our messages and participate in our activities aimed to drastically reduce the numbers who fall victim to Heart Disease and Stoke.

This is also the time we celebrate the beginning of Women's Institute in Canada, which has now spread to over 70 countries around the world. We invite you to join us for an Open House Reception on February 16 at the WI Office.

President, Carol MacLellan

February 4 was "Wear Red Day" raising awareness of the heart health project. The PEI Women's Institute encourages our members to wear something red and show your support.
